Title: IT Support (July 2012 – July 2013)
Duties: Responding to call/email/walkup requests from internal and external clients dealing with FAMC supported hardware and software. Assisting other IT sub-departments when possible. Achievements: Maintained an internal Helpdesk resource page (just JS/HTML using jquery). Created/maintained several installation scripts used by the team. An install script that took care of installing/configuring Cisco software during FAMC's Cisco phone rollout helped to allow the Dallas support team to double the efficiency of phone rollouts as compared to the Tennessee headquarters team. Both our tier 1 and tier 2 support relied upon me to resolve our more troublesome issues, even for those that had been IT support at the company for 3+ years. Supervisor: Jeff Tillett (469)-461-2565 Title: Underwriting Support (June 2010 – July 2012) Duties: Prepare Loan Packages for Underwriting, Indexing, Loan Review, Customer Service, finding workarounds to SFTP upload problems and malformed PDF/TIFFs. Achievements: Implemented a workaround for a broken loan processing technology via a batch script and ghostscript. Later found out that I had effectively reverse engineered IT's own process (though that was scripted in perl). Created an income calculation tool (MS Excel using conditionals and VB Macros) that came into use company wide, which was a large factor in being awarded the Executive Choice Award.
